I'm a bit puzzled by your findings, considering that these values are
the same ones used by Hercules for their own custom Linux
distribution, as I have been able to verify by mounting the original
partition and copying their xorg.conf to an USB disk.

On another issue, please note that rounding Hz values is not a good
idea. Instead, the values given by the cvt tool should be used.
