Package: gphpedit
Version: 0.9.50-2
Severity: normal

Hi,

I've been experiencing some problems when opening files with gphpedit. The files
are rendered very badly. For example, the following is a short PHP file in
bluefish:

http://www.streetend.force9.co.uk/misc/bugs/2005-08-22-211725_1280x1024_scrot.png

And this is the same file in gphpedit:

http://www.streetend.force9.co.uk/misc/bugs/2005-08-22-211758_1280x1024_scrot.png

As you can see, the layout of the file make is unreadable. I have tried several
different fonts, all of which show the text in the same layout. The wrapping
margin is set to the default of 80 chars. When I click in the text window, the
cursor jumps around within the file, the scrollbar on the left moving up and
down. There are also rendering errors where the same text is repeated many
times. Attempts to highlight any text also produce similar errors. I can offer
further screenshots if they would be helpful.

Thanks,

Tony Whitmore
