Hi,I've built myself the latest version of pppoe (3.10), and thought I might share it. While I was at it, I split out the patches which were applied directly by the diff.gz into single patches, which I put into debian/patches/. I added a dependency to quilt and updated the source package to version 3.0, as well as debhelper v8.
I took the upstream tarball from http://www.roaringpenguin.com/files/download/rp-pppoe-3.10.tar.gzI added everything I changed into the changelog. Feel free to use it as you like. If you have any comments on the package update, or feel I need to change something, I'll be happy to fix it.
