Thanks for the reminder, I intended to look closer to this issue before
the upload, and hadn't time to do so, sorry about that.

I am able to reproduce your bug, and agree that your patch fixes the
issue, thanks a lot for that! Please, could you confirm that the new
version [0] solve the issue on your side too?

I must admit that the problem is grave enough (renders the package
unusable), and the patch tiny enough so that it shouldn't be a problem
for the release team to accept it for Squeeze. I'll perform a bit more
tests to verify that nothing is actually broken, and if no-one objects,
will ask Thijs to upload this new one.

Hopefully, with your patch included, this part of the documentation will
be useless and could be deleted (maybe the best option: there are
