Hello

Well gimp should have not been the topic in this report. I wish I haved
wrote anything about the purposes which are multiple: convert, gimp, ...
embedded into a very highly complex environment that is not the issue of
this present report.

However the issue regards setting some cat output into the xclip. For
instance one can operate as such:
open firefox browser, click on an image, and then make it selected, and
select "Copy image" and you get it into the clipboard.

This operation could be duplicated using a command line, widely openign the
range of possiblitiies under linux and interactivity.

cat apicturefile.jpg | xclip

is however not working.

For such purpose please would you have an further information or ideas how
to manage the desired purpose?

All the best / I wish you a very nice week !

Y.
