Package: python-rdflib
Version: 2.4.2-1+b1
Severity: wishlist

Please allow creating subjects that have IDs. In other words, I'd like
to be able to generate a graph entirely using this library that in the
XML serialization will contain rdf:ID attributes on subjects. If this
is already possible, please document it, because I've looked at the
source and cannot find how to use it.

My specific use case here is to generate a node with a fixed ID based on
a label that is guaranteed to be unique and invariant. This would allow
me to refer to that node without keeping the Node object around outside
the graph.
