Package: gridengine-master Severity: important I tried configuring gridengine to use classic spooling, but when the qmaster daemon starts up, I see these errors in the logs:
E|Binaries were compiled with spooling method "berkeleydb", requested spooling method is "classic" E|error creating a "classic" spooling context C|setup failed It looks to me like they are not mutually exclusive. Classic spooling is important if, like me, you want to set up shadow masters. Can we have both methods compiled in? I'm running 6.2-4 (lenny), but it doesn't look different in 6.2u5-1. -- System Information: Debian Release: 5.0.6 APT prefers stable APT policy: (750, 'stable'), (70, 'oldstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.26-2-686 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C (charmap=ANSI_X3.4-1968) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
