On Aug. 2nd, you reported this bug against partman (indeed "partmen"...which explains it was unnoticed until then). However, you gave no detail at all and particularly the version of "Debian Sid Netinstall" you were trying. Also, some more details about the failure would also help investigating it. Before anything else, could you try reproducing the bug with the latest *daily build* of D-I and preferably the daily netboot image: i386: http://people.debian.org/~joeyh/d-i/images/daily/netboot/mini.iso amd64: http://d-i.debian.org/daily-images/amd64/daily/netboot/mini.iso In the meantime, I'm downgrading this bug report to "important".
