Hello, and thank you for the bug report.  This is thankfully fixed
upstream.  

I've marked it forwarded to http://projects.puppetlabs.com/issues/4489,
and will pull the solution from there.

Note: There is a 2.6.1~rc3 available in the "experimental" repository,
that may solve your problems, but I do not think this version will make
it to "squeeze".
