Package: puppet
Version: 2.6.0-2
Severity: normal

Puppet standalone is broken 2.6 release. Reproducable: always. Any files create
via source files can not be created by puppet. For example if your try
something like:

file {
        "/root/blablubb":
        source => "puppet:///modules/blablubb/mysource.txt",
}

Puppet apply will fail. This is already reported in various bug reports of the
puppet project and it is claimed to be fixed in 2.6.1.
With puppet apply not working half of the functunality of this package is
broken in my eyes. Many people rely on this feature for debootsrapping the
whole setup. Setting up a virtual machine host manually is not funny if you
know you do have the appropriate recipie but puppet is broken and you cant use
it.
