I just tried this here, and there were no problems. Please try to download the file again and check whether it works then. The md5sum of the deb should be: $ md5sum src/Packages/pbuilder-result/tetex-base_3.0-7_all.deb 0c2cdd321b8f5d67edca8b6804d7fd3f src/Packages/pbuilder-result/tetex-base_3.0-7_all.deb > The faild update of tetex-base might be the reason why the tetex-extra > update fails with the attempt to overwrite > /var/lib/tex-common/fontmap-cfg/tetex-extra.list > which is owned by tetex-base(!). It was a bug that it was in tetex-base, and indeed I only tested upgrading from unstable, not from older experimental versions. Although I just forgot to add a "Replaces: tetex-base", now that we have this situation I'm not sure whether I should add it just to support upgrades from experimental to experimental. As a workaround, simply remove tetex (you can do this with dpkg and --force-depends if you don't want to remove the stuff depending on it) and install again. Regards, Frank -- Frank Küster Inst. f.
