I share your concern regarding the package size. Although it is unfortunate that the upstream cease to support introspection, it solves the problem. The general problem is that C++ templating can generates massive amount of codes which leads to huge libraries, unrelated to the code complexity. However, addressing the fundamental reason why C++ has such a poor ratio complexity versus binary size is off topic ;-) Cheers -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v2.0.13 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iEYEARECAAYFAkxyx6gACgkQ8dLMyEl6F21+1gCgno5R2J+rS9D5h/yoo101LycF suYAoLC43Xw8Jr+Sa8P0UZH9mcJbDsET =JnqO -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
