Fellow Tcl/Tk maintainer, Could you please take a look at the thread below / in #590126 ? I got tagged with a 'ftbfs' for an R package that cannot load R's 'tcltk' package (part of the default build, hence of source package r-base and binary r-base-core) on the mips and mipsel platforms. Is that a known regression, or is it new?
