Hi Elimar, I think the module assistant ought to check the versions of GCC that the live kernel was built with, and compare it with the version available to compile with on the running system, then give a warning if they differ. Maybe I should raise a bug report with the module assistant? I can imagine many people using a stock kernel and compiling the alsa source against it, with potentially varied versions of GCC. What do you think? - -- Guy -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v2.0.14 (MingW32) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org/ iEYEARECAAYFAkw64a4ACgkQtVeealbDyDVqOgCfRysQs1YIRfo4aeQnl4Mu912b KfkAn0fe7r6/w/CcTizFOt1BpulGs80I =IL+3 -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
