I am trying to get alsa to play nicely with a Roland / Cakewalk /
Endirol UA-25EX usb sound device.
I have edited /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base.conf to comment out this line:
#options snd-usb-audio index=-2
I have added a file, /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-local.conf which contains this:
alias snd-card-0 snd-usb-audio
options snd-usb-audio index=0
