Hi guys, I **guess** this issue is actually caused by a bug that was introduced in Perl 5.10.1. It is not present in 5.10.0 or earlier, and it was addressed in version 5.12.0. See: http://rt.perl.org/rt3//Public/Bug/Display.html?id=72866
