Zut alors! You are absolutely right. For the current 2.11.1 I must have
copied debian/ over from 2.11.0 missed the subsequent 2.11.0-2 and
2.11.1~2010525. 

Luckily this was the only fix, so I am currently reconstituting the changes
which should be simple enough.

Yes, as I could tell from looking at the changelog. I had inadvertently
skipped two releases, including the one with the fix for #581237.

New 2.11.1-2 packages, once again with the fix, should be coming shortly.
