Package: iotop
Version: 0.2-3
Severity: important

Hi,

in the 'USER' column, iotop always display the user name 'root', even for
processes
which are owned by other users than root.

Example:

server:~# ps aux|grep [2]0197
iris 20197 0.7 0.3 12856 3640 ? S 11:36 2:18 /usr/sbin/smbd -D
server:~# iotop -b -n1|grep [2]0197
20197 root 0 B/s 0 B/s 0.00 % 0.00 % smbd -D

As you can see, PID 20197 belongs to user 'iris', but iotop shows 'root' for
this process.

Greetings,
Kolja.
