Well, of course the typical /etc/asound.conf as recommended by
pulseaudio upstream:

I don't know if it'll be the default for squeeze, but if so, PA support
would be crucial. It's been the default on Ubuntu and Fedora for a long
time, so it's not a question "if" it'll be the default on Debian, but
simply "when".

Fine for me. There's probably still enough time to get it right before
every Debian desktop user is "exposed" to pulseaudio.
