Inside the tarball he sent you, in setup/usb_src/vnetusba.h we can find this: #define VNetVID 0x03EB #define VNetPID 0x7603 #define VNetPID_RFMD 0x7605 So the driver he sent you is for the USB ID 03EB:7603 or 03EB:7605.
