Indeed :) But this problem is caused not by a bug in experimental zlib package which is fine bug a problem in luatex. Personally, I'm not disturbed by this bug at all and don't think that there should be any hurry in fixing it. I just want to say that implicit dependencies are generally bad and can possibly cause system breakages not only with experimental but with any mixup like testing+unstable or stable+testing.
