The previously included user/admin guides were actually exactly what I needed most of the time, so how about including a snapshot of those web pages and add a note that the most recent versions can be found online?

Hrm, that's problematic. The monkeysphere developers list is subscribed to the BTS for this package, but the list is moderated. I assume you're getting "moderator approval required" messages? That's an annoyance for you, and I apologize. We'll either fix the list, or unsubscribe it from
the BTS.

If you can't fix the list, it's probably enough to just include a note as to why someone who has submitted a bug report would get this message.
