I prefer local documentation since I happen to often use my laptop while riding on the bus (=> no internet connection). It's not that bad in this particular case because the guides are more or less for one-time setup and I can always prefetch the pages using wwwoffle, but it sure is nicer to be able to just read the docs anywhere and anytime.
Maybe we should include a README that points to the above mentioned links.
