I suspect it has been probably fixed in later version. To identify this, would you try both following backports: 3.2.15 packages which you can get from: deb http://pkg-samba.alioth.debian.org/packages lenny-backports/ IF that's still not enough, backported 3.4.7 from backports.org: http://packages.debian.org/lenny-backports/samba http://backports.org/dokuwiki/doku.php?id=instructions That would help us narrowing the possible fixes and decide whether we should report this upstream or not. --
