Note that freezing is not the usual deal with the flash plugin. Crashing is. Freezing is most likely due to your sound setup. What does /etc/iceweasel/iceweaselrc have to say about ICEWEASEL_DSP ? Actually, this is for the near future. Version 3.6.4 for which a beta should reach experimental soon will have "out of process plugins". Though I don't know how well freezing plugins will be handled.
