Package: xfce4-power-manager Version: 0.8.5-1 Severity: important Tags: upstream
disregarded as long as xscreensaver (the daemon program) is not started which is the default setup. I suggest xfce4-power-manager should handle adding xscreensaver to xfce's autostarted appilcations, instead of leaving it up to the user to setup xscreensaver. At least there should be a warning, that the settings regarding locking are effectively useless without having xscreensaver running. I think shere should also be a dependency added (in this package for xscreensaver) as it is anticipated for a system to be locked when waking up from standby... -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (700, 'testing'), (650, 'unstable'), (600, 'stable'), (200, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.33-x60x60 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=de_DE.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=de_DE.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages xfce4-power-manager depends on: ii hal 0.5.14-2 Hardware Abstraction Layer ii libc6 2.10.2-7 Embedded GNU C Library: Shared lib ii libdbus-1-3 1.2.24-1 simple interprocess messaging syst ii libdbus-glib-1-2 0.86-1 simple interprocess messaging syst ii libglib2.0-0 2.24.0-1 The GLib library of C routines ii libgtk2.0-0 2.20.0-3 The GTK+ graphical user interface ii libnotify1 [libnotify1-gtk2.1 0.4.5-1 sends desktop notifications to a n ii libpango1.0-0 1.28.0-1 Layout and rendering of internatio ii libx11-6 2:1.3.3-3 X11 client-side library ii libxext6 2:1.1.1-3 X11 miscellaneous extension librar ii libxfce4util4 4.6.1-2 Utility functions library for Xfce ii libxfcegui4-4 4.6.3-2 Basic GUI C functions for Xfce4 ii libxfconf-0-2 4.6.1-2 Client library for Xfce4 configure ii xfce4-power-manager-data 0.8.5-1 power manager for Xfce desktop, ar xfce4-power-manager recommends no packages.
