Package: linux-2.6 Version: 2.6.32-10 Severity: normal This problem concerns the Xen 2.6.32 kernel not booting when running Xen with dom0_mem set to less than 335000 (330000 fails). After the Xen kernel loads it doesn't appear to even start executing Linux kernel code, it just blanks the screen and resets the system.
I am running a Xen server on a HP desktop Celeron 2.4GHz system. The problem I have concerns two almost identical systems (I obtained another system of the same model and gave it similar disks etc to reproduce the bug), so it's not just a flakey system (the probability of two dodgey systems failing in the same way is low) although I do concede the possibility of a design flaw in an entire series of HP systems. title Xen 3.4-i386 / Debian GNU/Linux,
