Package: libcurl4-gnutls-dev Version: 7.20.1-1 Severity: important Tags: sid
curl-config --libs returns "-lcurl -Wl,-z,defs" instead of just "-lcurl". That linker flag breaks a build of a shared library of mine which naturally has undefined symbols as it is dynamically loaded by another programme and uses symbols of that programme. pkg-config --libs libcurl doesn't do that. Looks like this case has been fixed. -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.32-3-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=de_DE.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=de_DE.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages libcurl4-gnutls-dev depends on: ii libc6-dev [libc-dev] 2.10.2-6 Embedded GNU C Library: Developmen ii libcurl3-gnutls 7.20.1-1 Multi-protocol file transfer libra ii libgnutls-dev 2.8.6-1 the GNU TLS library - development ii libidn11-dev 1.18-1 Development files for GNU Libidn, ii libkrb5-dev 1.8.1+dfsg-2 Headers and development libraries ii libldap2-dev 2.4.17-2.1 OpenLDAP development libraries ii zlib1g-dev 1:1.2.3.4.dfsg-3 compression library - development libcurl4-gnutls-dev recommends no packages.
