The problem is, aptitude is uninstallable for past few days here.

1. Why there is no info after "...provided by:"
2. apt version 0.7.26~exp3 is installed. Why do I
still get the above messages?
"apt-cache show apt" shows this in the "provides"
line - " libapt-pkg-libc6.9-6-4.8"
