Package: apt-listbugs Version: 0.0.89 Severity: normal When packages are installed via "kdesu synaptic", and sensible-browser is set to konqueror, then apt-listbugs will prompt about bugs in the synaptic window.
Pressing 'w' for "display bug lists in html (uses sensible-browser)." will create a temporary web-page and then display it in konqueror, blocking until konqueror exits. However, if I press Return in synaptic before konqueror exits, apt-listbugs will process this when I eventually close konqueror. The next prompt is to install the buggy package; the default is Yes. I would be better if apt-listbugs flushed its input when sensible-browser exits, so any input during sensible-browser is ignored. -- System Information: Debian Release: 5.0.4 APT prefers stable APT policy: (500, 'stable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.26-2-686 (SMP w/1 CPU core) Locale: LANG=en_GB.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages apt-listbugs depends on: ii apt 0.7.20.2+lenny1 Advanced front-end for dpkg ii libdpkg-ruby1.8 0.3.2 modules/classes for dpkg on ruby 1 ii libgettext-ruby1.8 1.91.0-1.2 Gettext for ruby1.8 ii libhttp-access2-ruby1.8 2.0.6-3 HTTP accessing library for ruby ii libruby1.8 [libzlib-rub 1.8.7.72-3lenny1 Libraries necessary to run Ruby 1. ii libxml-parser-ruby1.8 0.6.8-4 Interface of expat for the scripti ii ruby 4.2 An interpreter of object-oriented apt-listbugs recommends no packages.
