Package: sysv-rc-conf
Version: 0.99-6
X-debbugs-Cc: j...@pidone.org
Severity: wishlist

There should be an option, on by default, to line up columns, so instead of
$ /usr/sbin/sysv-rc-conf --list
acpid        2:on       3:on    4:on    5:on
alsa-utils   0:off      6:off   S:on
anacron      2:off      3:off   4:off   5:off
apache2      0:off      1:off   2:off   3:off   4:off   5:off   6:off
atd          0:off      1:off   2:on    3:on    4:on    5:on    6:off

one will see
acpid                           2:on    3:on    4:on    5:on
alsa-utils   0:off                                              6:off   S:on
anacron                         2:off   3:off   4:off   5:off
apache2      0:off      1:off   2:off   3:off   4:off   5:off   6:off
atd          0:off      1:off   2:on    3:on    4:on    5:on    6:off

In fact, it would be neat if one optionally could just get the same
output as
# TERM=dumb sysv-rc-conf > file # if that worked.
