Package: cups-bsd Version: 1.4.3-1 Severity: normal File: /usr/bin/lpr >lpr -P toms2015 ~/.cshrc lpr: Upgrade Required > >lp -d toms2015d ~/.cshrc lp: Upgrade Required >
I tried a google search for "lpr Upgrade Required" or "lp Upgrade Required" and found nothing. I tried doing an "apt-get ; apt-get upgrade -u", so my machine is up-to-date, and the problem still occurs. The error message doesn't really help. -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers sid APT policy: (500, 'sid'), (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.32-trunk-686 (SMP w/1 CPU core) Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C (charmap=ANSI_X3.4-1968) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages cups-bsd depends on: ii cups-client 1.4.3-1 Common UNIX Printing System(tm) - ii cups-common 1.4.3-1 Common UNIX Printing System(tm) - ii debconf [debconf-2.0] 1.5.32 Debian configuration management sy ii libc6 2.10.2-6 Embedded GNU C Library: Shared lib ii libcups2 1.4.3-1 Common UNIX Printing System(tm) - ii update-inetd 4.36 inetd configuration file updater cups-bsd recommends no packages.
