Package: roundup Version: 1.4.4-4+lenny1.1 Severity: normal Some small ways in which README.Debian is out of date:
1. It shouldn’t mention python-sqlite, as roundup doesn’t need or use this any more for sqlite storage. 2. The instruction to set “TRACKER_WEB” in config.ini should be to set “web” under [tracker]. “System-wide tracker installation” b), i.e. 1b), is out of date: it doesn’t mention user roundup (under which roundup is now installed by default), or /etc/init.d startup; if it is desired to use runit, then USERUNIT can be set in /etc/default/roundup. I suggest that the paragraphs dealing with runit and start-stop-daemon be deleted, and replaced with something like: By default, the server is run as user roundup, and started from /etc/init.d/roundup. To use runit instead, you can set USERUNIT in /etc/default/roundup. -- System Information: Debian Release: 5.0.4 APT prefers stable APT policy: (500, 'stable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.26-2-686 (SMP w/1 CPU core) Locale: LANG=en_GB.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages roundup depends on: ii adduser 3.110 add and remove users and groups ii python 2.5.2-3 An interactive high-level object-o ii python-central 0.6.8 register and build utility for Pyt roundup recommends no packages.
