Package: etckeeper
Version: 0.43
Severity: minor

When I do an

   aptitude --download-only full-upgrade

I get this error message

  ** etckeeper detected uncommitted changes in /etc prior to apt run
  ** Aborting apt run. Manually commit and restart.

  E: Problem executing scripts DPkg::Pre-Invoke 'if [ -x /usr/sbin/etckeeper ];
then etckeeper pre-install; fi'
  E: Sub-process returned an error code
  A package failed to install. Trying to recover:
  dpkg: status database area is locked by another process

The uncommitted file is /etc/postfix/main.cf, which in my setup changes, when
I go online (downloading) and back to offline (installing).

This error message appears for some weeks now (sorry, can't be more precise)
and did not happen before with the same setup.
