Executing top without command-line arguments works fine. Pressing 'u' in top and entering 'wouter' shows only wouter's processes. However, running top -u wouter gives me top: unknown argument 'K' usage: top -hv | -bcisSH -d delay -n iterations [-u user | -U user] -p pid [,pid ...] This happens for any string in place of the (valid) user name above. Also top -u prints top: -u missing name Strange!
