Hi Ben I think I need some more information to tell whether this is an application fault or not.
Similar problem seems to be reported in http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=442079 and https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/firefox-3.0/+bug/229927 As you see this in browsers, are you sure it is not your browser that cause this? Please siable the plugins you have. Do you see crashes with any other software than browsers?
