Thanks for looking at libgda! I have some comments wrt your patch:

-Build-Depends: cdbs (>= 0.4.41),
+Build-Depends: cdbs (>= 0.4.65),

- libglib2.0-dev (>= 2.16),
+ libglib2.0-dev (>= 2.22),

- libxml2-dev (>= 2.4.22),
+ libxml2-dev (>= 2.7.3),

You didn't mention why you bumped these build dependencies in your changelog
entry.

+libgda4 (4.0.6-1+nmu1) unstable; urgency=low
+
+ * Non-maintainer upload
+ * New upstream release
+ * Removed duplicated libsqlite3-dev dependency from source package.
+ * Added nmu to debian version. Fixes: source-nmu-has-incorrect-version-number

You don't need to document changelog changes in the changelog :-)

-SONAME := 4
+SONAME := 6

Are you sure this is correct? (And if it were, it wasn't documented in the changelog).

Regards,
Emilio
