i left in a bit of a rush so it's possible that i didn't fully
communicate, but no i didn't/don't have anything ready for the NMU.
what i meant to communicate was "i might get a fix done before i leave,
otherwise someone else might asynchronously do an NMU in the meantime".

okay. my time will also free up considerably towards the weekend, so
let's see who gets to it first. if i start working on it i'll make sure
to send a ping via the BR to avoid duplicating effort.
