hi the problem is not solved yet.
the situation is the following one: - claws-mail is installed on my system; it's the only mailer with gui installed. - under tools > preferences > SendMail acrobat gives several choices for the mail client to use. claws is not one of them, but the first one is "Default mail client" - there is no way (afaik) to set claws as the default mail client in debian. you may use the following pdf for testing it (it's not of mine, but i hope she won't mind): http://www.gimp-werkstatt.de/sonstige/kontakt.pdf finally, the bug is reported under the package "mail" but should probably be filled under "settings" or default applications... no idea how to change it.
