That was one of the things I was not too sure about. On the other
hand, lintian warnings (some of them!) will prevent uploads, so I
eventually thought it’s better to fix more than less things.

No, scope was fixing “some” bugs for T&S 1 ☺ I picked packages at
random.

That’s the other thing I was not too sure about. Since you are
“in” already, there need not be an NMU, and we can work on this
together, or you can just take my patches and apply and make a
new regular Debian upload.

I did mail the fixes to upstream too, btw.
