Package: gsl-doc-info Version: 1.13-1 Severity: normal Since the gsl info pages are shipped under "gsl-ref", when you type in "info gsl", the info pages do not appear. Instead the man page comes up.
The man page does refer to "info gsl-ref", by which we can access the info pages. However I think it would be easier for users, and therefore a good service to them, if "info gsl" operated in the intuitive manner, going to the gsl-ref info pages. I believe this can be achieved readily with a symlink or other short reference from gsl.info to gsl-ref.info. -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.32-trunk-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_AU.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_AU.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages gsl-doc-info depends on: ii dpkg 1.15.5.5 Debian package management system ii install-info 4.13a.dfsg.1-5 Manage installed documentation in gsl-doc-info recommends no packages.
