Package: iceweasel Version: 3.5.6-1 Severity: normal Hi, Thanks for keeping up on this problem. The problem previously described - the java applet does not work, still exists. However with my current version of iceweasel the CPU usage does not jump to 100%; despite the failure of the applet to work, no loss of data occures and other open tabs can still be used for normal browsing after a short delay in iceweasel's respons.
Also, a pop up window of the java applet declares: The publisher cannot be verified by a trusted source. Code will be treated as unsigned. com.facebook.facebookphotouploader5.FacebookPhotoUploader5 java.io.EOFException I've also found some ubuntu users have the same problem. And it's more likely a java problem - and not an iceweael per-se. Would be if someone notified the JAVA maintainers on this. I tried following some threads on this (i.e http://forums.zybez.net/topic/1208969-unsigned-java/) but the java control panel also failes to lunch on my debian.
