   Hi, Thomas.  When you press "+" on a section, aptitude treats it as
pressing "+" on each package within the section (as with every other
command you can invoke on a section), so it does indeed break holds.
This bug is about a different problem, where some automatic processes
were breaking holds even though the user didn't ask aptitude to do so.

Hi, Daniel. What you explained is exactly the same as message 15 from the original bug submitter and message 25 from you.
So I don't think it's a different issue.
But this issue could be downgraded to 'feature request' in my opinion
