I have seen a similar issue (maybe the same) but only once, upgrading
an Unstable system with the state from summer to today's Unstable.
However, I wouldn't care much about this issue. Unstable (and also
Testing to some degree) are a moving target and may contain a faulty
version for a while. If the path Stable -> Testing -> Unstable
works then I see no point in hunting historical bugs.
