That's true, for the contents of the gforge_4.8.1.orig.tar.gz and

I was wrong... I was confused by the fact that the diff is applied by dget, and 
it includes some differences resulting from the snapshotting.

This no longer stands. Sorry.

Still, I would vote for using dpatch for both Debian-related patches or 
upstream snapshotting, or otherwise only include dpatch in .diff.gz, and then 
provide +svn snapshotted upstream source tarball.

The current situation is a bit confusing.


Still, about the differences between contents of the two versions of the 
tarball... this may be clarified/fixed in any case (maybe adding a 
get-orig-source rule to do so).
