Package: gforge
Version: 4.8.1-3
Severity: normal

Hi.

dget http://ftp.debian.org/debian/pool/main/g/gforge/gforge_4.8.1-3.dsc and
uscan --verbose --force-download --download will download two tarballs that
have significant differences.

The source package seems to have been constructed by taking snapshots of
upstream's repository without reflecting this in the versioning scheme (or
upstream tarball contents evolved without changing the numbering).

This should be fixed, so that there's either patches added in the Debian
package to a fixed version's upstream tarball, or upstream version includes a
snapshot in the form of 4.8.1+svnYYYYMMDD or something similar.

Hope this helps,

Besy regards,
