this was marked by pkg-perl members as not needing to be updated because the only changes are: * to tests, not relevant to the end user. * for with perl 5.6, which isn't in Debian * spelling fixes, which are minor. Why do you want it updated? maybe the author missed an important change in the Changes file? anyways I guess we could update it anyway, it'd be nice to know the reason.. Cheers, Ryan This is the list of changes: 2009-08-14 Gisle Aas <gi...@activestate.com> Release 1.40 Even stricter test for working DNS, 2nd try. 2009-08-13 Gisle Aas <gi...@activestate.com> Release 1.39 Even stricter test for working DNS, hopefully this gets rid of the rest of the heuristics.t failures. 2009-05-27 Gisle Aas <gi...@activestate.com> Release 1.38 Ville Skyttä (3): Spelling fixes. Tatsuhiko Miyagawa (1): skip DNS test if wildcard domain catcher (e.g. OpenDNS) is there Gisle Aas (1): Avoid "Insecure $ENV{PATH} while running with -T switch" error with perl-5.6. -- _________________________ Ryan Niebur ryanrya...@gmail.com
