I didn't say the logo must be removed because people are already using the software. I said it's effect is not very big anyway, and because on the other side it hinders debugging, the bad effects outweight the good effects. > You should propose this to GNOME, KDE, Gimp and > also the Debian project. The important difference is that usually other software's logos don't get in the users way when doing things - in this case, quick debugging when things go wrong. Developing new configurations takes a lot of time. Adding the logo and forcing people to take exytra actions to get rid of it for better debugging adds even more time to this. > Henning, this is really a stupid reason. It's a proposal on how the effect you are probably trying to achieve by not solving this bug can be solved in much better ways, so I don't think it's off topic. Anyway, no further discussion - even less exchange of insults - needed on my side. I want to talk about arguments, and we didn't hear a single argument why this logo is so important in this place to justify users developing configurations must be distracted by it or forced to take additional actions. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
