Hi François, I'd say it _is_ a bug, because the perl-based "rm" (safe-rm) is used by all system tools (if configured so). Where the original "rm" is prone to perl failures, safe-rm's rm is not and can lead (and lead me) to upgrade failure. The problem is that safe-rm replaces rm for all users, human and non-human ones, where having aliases for human users only is probably a good idea and could be rather easily be implemented in safe-rm.
