Package: wicd
Version: 1.6.2.2-1
Severity: normal

When my notebook goes into suspend, wicd doesn't reconnect the
(broadcom-sta) based WLAN connection after resume. wicd-client says
"disconnecting active connections" and stays there for more than a
minute, when I have aborted.

Restarting wicd doesn't help, neither does unloading and re-loading
the wl module. When I manually point wpa-supplicant to the
configuration file placed by wicd in
/var/lib/wicd/configurations/<mac-address>, the connection comes up
immediately.

This looks to me like wicd saves some state somewhere persistently,
and then tries to take down a connection which doesn't exist any more,
and stalls while doing so. I haven't found out, however, where this
state may be saved.

Greetings
Marc
